Hey Ladies! I'm sorry I have not posted but I have not been to the gym in a week. I have NO Excuses. My trainer had a procedure done and she is out for a week. I really need to get back with her. I miss her. I feel the affects of NOT going to gym.
It's really HARD to do this all by myself. I have to keep myself motivated! I am in the process of trying to find a nutrionist in my health plan.
All I ask is for you to say a PRAYER for me to get myself back in the groove.
I DON'T WANT TO GIVE UP NOW!! I'VE COME THIS FAR....

ReplyDeleteI KNOW its hard... hang in there... Its been a struggle for me the past few weeks... I know the trainer helps, but you still could do the cardio yourself... 30mins here and there on those dreadful machines can make a difference.
You WILL get back in your groove! I know it!

ReplyDeleteI KNOW HOW HARD it is to loose weight. I remember going to the Dr. and being 261 POUNDS and my Dr. SCARING the HELL OUT OF ME! It was a STRUGGLE and it's STILL A STRUGGLE!! The one thing that helped was I was sent to a nutritionist and I had to go EVERY WEEK and she basically taught me how to eat again. We didn't focus on weight she focused on my HORRIBLE SNACKING issue and eating in general. I had to do a food journal - a honest one! Girl, I remember looking at that journal and I couldn't believe how much I was eating at times and alot of it was boredom or darn it I LIKE TO EAT:-) What I liked about going to the nutritionist was she gave me some tools that I still use today. YEP, I've put on a good 25 POUNDS from the lowest weight that she had me at but I KNOW WHAT she taught me and I'm back to CONCIOUSLY EATING verses the mindless SNACKING I can do. I was taking classes and I was up late at night doing homework and I got in the HORRIBLE habit of EATING late at night. I packed on 20 POUNDS and I'm in the Struggle to take this crap off and get back to what she taught me.
YOU CAN DO THIS TERRY and YOU ARE NOT ALONE!! I know the best thing she taught me was to PREPARE and STICK TO THE PLAN and if I got off course (IT WILL HAPPEN) don't put it off until the next day BUT THE NEXT TIME YOU PUT SOMETHING IN YOUR MOUTH!
Second thing she taught me was - SOME WORKOUT is better than NO WORKOUT! This week I've been getting up from my desk and walking the steps. I work in a five story building. I work on the second floor so I walk down to the first floor and back up to the fifth floor then back to the second floor. Better than me sitting at my darn desk SNACKING!
The next thing is I'm joining the gym. I LOVE Jazzercise but I know I need to shake things up if I want to see results!

My insurance (Anthem) paid for the nutrionsist so I didn't have to pay out of pocket. You may consider going to a weight loss formal program also to KICK START things to get like 20 pounds off and then stop the program because it will get you started.
