IT'S SO HARRDDD TO SAY GOOODBYE.....

to this weight.  I know it's a process and I can't rush things.  I also know that it's not good to loose weight fast, but why can't there be a miracle something that we can blink our eyes and take the weight off.

I went to the gym yesterday and it FELT great to workout for an hour.  I made sure I wasn't putting any strain on my knee.

My eating habits are improving.  I am eating small meals 5 - 6 times a day (breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner and sometimes a snack an hour or two before bed and sometimes not).  My water intake has been tremendous.  I am proud of myself for that.  I have limited my diet coke to either 1 - 3 a week.  I still LOVE my margaritas though ;-).

Alfreda, I must confess I got on the scale and I went down 4 pounds.  I am HAPPY!  I have to keep it going.

You guys are MORE INSPIRATION to me than you know.  I'm feeling good and my knees are always hurting.  I may not can see the weight coming off but I can feel the relief in my knees.

I have to reconnect with my trainer..I MISS HER!!

Love you all and I'm glad YOU are MY FAMILY!

  1. Hang in there, Terry! We ALL want that silver bullet & fast results, but....

You are doing it right by trying to find the "recipe" that works for YOU.

From one person with knee problems to another, you might want to consider using the bike instead of the elliptical. When I was going through PT for my knee the bike was a big part of my rehab. In fact, I did a spin class today so that I didn't push it with my knee even though its feeling better.

The weight WILL come off -- just DON'T give up. And, its not just about the weight, its about being healthier for ALL OF US!

If its a struggle for you maybe you should see a nutritionist to get pointers or a supplement to help "jumpstart" your weight loss?? I bring that up, because sure I workout, but the fat burners do help me. Again, its a matter of what works for YOU...

You keep your head UP, take ONE DAY at a time, and adjust as you go along!

  2. Terry you and I are in the same boat. Diet coke is a weakness of mine. I've tried to cut down. I swear my intake has increased in the past month. Working on that as well. Congrats on the 4 lbs. I put the scale in the closet and will only weigh at my WW weigh-ins. Too much pressure when I see the scale in the bathroom. - Freda
